[Near] Death by an Excavator

I was driving in my car down a thoroughfare on a very cloudy day. There wasn't much traffic, just one or two cars. Further down the road there was some road work and traffic was being redirected to a small dirt road surround by trees on the side. I got in line with the other cars and followed the detour until we came up on a row of semi-truck beds. There was a ramp on the last one and we were instructed to go up the ramp and drive on the beds for the detour. I did as I was told but noticed that I was going back the way I came from.

When I got off the last truck bed I turned around and went back on the dirt road. This time, instead of going on the ramp I decide to keep driving. The dirt road ended shortly after the ramp and there was nothing but a grass field. To the left where the main road was, there was a excavator picking up dirt and dropping it in random places. Once it dropped the dirt it would sharply circle clockwise before picking more up. I thought to myself, if I timed it correctly enough, the excavator would miss me and I could get back on the road and to my destination (which I never figured out where).

When I thought the time was right, I slammed on the pedal and sped forward. However, once I hit the grass it slowed me down tremendously. I continued on hoping I could still make. But I was wrong. The excavator bucket was swinging towards me. My only thoughts were "this is it." and my heart began to race. The bucket was right at my windshield when everything went blank.

I opened my eyes and I was on a couch in a strange house. My mother, two cousins, and a friend walked up to me . My mom explained to me that this was her new house. It was a large, two story home made of dark wood. It was decorated in an old southern theme with lots of quilts. My mom left and my cousins and friend wanted to see if I was okay. Apparently the accident did happen but I came out of it without any injuries, but my car didn't seem to make it. My mom also had no idea about it which I was thankful for. I was afraid she would demand I never drive again despite the fact I'm 22 and on my own.

I got up from the couch and began to praise God ( like really raising him) for protecting me from what could have been a fatal accident and that I would never sin again.

Disconnected

I am at my apartment with my fiance with another, much younger couple that our apparently our roommates. My fiance and I get into an argument and he leaves. I was very upset but thought it best to leave him alone.

He soon begins to call me. I reach for the cell phone but notice it's his cell phone so he must ave had mine. However, his name appeared on this phone as if it was my phone. I press the answer button to answer but all I hear is him grunting saying I never answer and hangs up before I can say hello. He then calls again and I pick the phone up much faster but this time the answer button is now the ignore button so I missed his call again.

This happened for quiet sometime. The answer button kept moving to different spots on the phone and I could not answer it. The guy from the younger couple had tried to help me to but there wasn't any luck. I began to get very frustrated and started to cry. All I could think about is how mad he probably is because I will not answer his calls.

The Chinook and Hot Air Balloon

I was riding in a red convertible car with my father at the front wheel. We were cruising down the road my old Elementary school is at. With the top down I relaxed and looked up at the sky. It was blue with white clouds, occasionally passing the green tops of trees. I then spotted and Chinook in the air. It's propellers were spinning but it was staying in mid flight. A hot air balloon appeared and flew next to it. I looked closer to see that the people in the balloon were waving at the Chinook. They continued to stay next to one another in mid air as we continued to drive to the town.

Cow Milking Bicycle

I was walking down the middle of the highway of my old hometown. There were probably only two or three cars that was actually driving down it (which is usually very busy in real life), but somehow missed me when passing and didn't seem to acknowledge my presence. Then out of nowhere, I see this weird cart/bicycle thing coming down the road with a Holstein dairy cow that was pulling it. It seated maybe about 6 or 8 older women and they were pedaling along the highway. It also had a shade over it that was white with a blue stripe going around it. I noticed that, the ladies pedaling was actually milking the cow. The milk would then fill up these bottles sitting next to the ladies. When someone's bottles were filled, they would get off the ride, say goodbye to the others, and then make her way home carrying two crates of milk. All the ladies seemed to be enjoying it and were very chatty with one another. They were dressed very old-fashioned with dusty-looking floral print dresses, particularly light blue with pink flowers, and some were wearing bandannas. They didn't seem to notice I was there either.

The Frozen Flood

It was very early in the morning at my mother's house. I got out of bed to my little Shih Tzu wanting to go outside. As I walked through the living room to get her leash I looked through the living room windows. The weather was very gloomy, almost autumn like. There were no leaves on the trees and the skies were cloudy and grey.

I walked onto the back porch with my dog. It was wooden, and worn out. The white paint on it was chipping off and the boards where creaky and loose. I looked towards the yard and noticed the yard was flooded. What was unusual about this flood was that it was completely frozen.

I stood on the porch not allowing my dog to go out no matter how much she fought to run off. I was afraid she was going to drown. My younger brother came running out in excitement to the flood and pushed my dog into the frozen terrain. It cracked and she fell in the water. I yelled at my brother and used her leash to pull her out. She was soaked and shivering. With that I brought her in to dry her off.
